Kouyouen (光陽園学院) is a prestigious and well-known school for girls. It has a high university entrance rate.
Taniguchi, a student of North High, claimed he found a girlfriend there in December of year 0, shortly before The Disappearance incident occurred. The student turned out to be Kuyoh Suoh.
Alternate Academy[]
In an alternate reality created by Yuki Nagato, the school was co-ed and specifically designated for students with advanced academic abilities. Haruhi Suzumiya and Itsuki Koizumi attended it. The same state of events exists in The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.
