Someday in the Rain is the tenth episode of The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan. Despite the title, it has no connection to the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya episode of the same name. This episode introduces the alternate personality of Yuki Nagato.
Plot[]
Immediately after being hit by a car in the previous episode, Nagato begins acting strangely. She refuses to be taken to the hospital for examination and says that the collision was her fault, even though she was walking in a crosswalk and the driver ran a red light. She becomes minimally responsive, and no longer plays video games, instead taking up an intense interest in reading. Kyon assesses these changes as Nagato being in a morose mood due to the protective lecture she got from Asakura after the car accident. However, while the two girls are washing the dishes the following night, Asakura flatly asks Nagato "Who are you?"
