The Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒの劇場, Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekijō) is the thirteenth Haruhi Suzumiya light novel, which was released on November 29, 2024.[2] At the same time, an English version was released[3] by Yen Press digitally and in print at a later date.[4]

The 13th volume was announced on August 31, 2024, with a simultaneous release in Japan and the rest of the world on November 29, 2025. The simultaneous digital publication of the english version took place on the globalwalker website and amazon, and a printed version was announced, but still without a date.

act.1 ファンタジー篇 Act. 1 Fantajī-hen
Kyon and the the SOS Brigade find themselves thrust into a series of unexpected adventures that defy logic and memory. Set in a world reminiscent of RPGs, they must uncover the hidden rules of this strange medieval world they're trapped, and way out. With Haruhi leading the charge with her unyielding determination, the group faces absurd challenges, . Amid the chaos, Kyon struggles to unravel the mysteries surrounding their situation and the peculiar dynamics keeping them trapped in this loop of improbable trials and rewards.

act.2 ギャラクシー篇 Act. 2 Gyarakushī-hen
The SOS Brigade were stuck in a simulation, apparently of an RPG or video game. Having failed in their last mission to rescue the prince and princess from a demon lord, now they had to do the same thing, only rescue the emperor's children from space pirates. The Haruhi team of the Galactic Regional Observation Conclave's Patrol Force, a sci-fi team, had only a small spaceship dubbed "The Schismatrix". Nonetheless Haruhi Suzumiya was confident the space pirates would be easily defeated, and of course she'd take all their treasure.
act.3 World Trip[]
ａｃｔ．３ ワールドトリップ篇 Act. 3 Wārudotorippu-hen
The old western is now the scene of a dispute between farmers and ranchers, and the trio of cowgirls from the SOS brigade and the two deputies join together in a duel where the first to shoot wins. But there's something even more bizarre going on in this mix of role-playing game and theater play where reality begins to crumble and look more and more like a big stage. From Prohibition America to an unknown beach, this world trip seems to have no end.

final act エスケープ篇 Fainaru act esukēpu-hen
Surrounded by deities and searching for an escape plan, the SOS Brigade finds themselves in what appears to be Ancient Greece, with the Trojan War being performed in an open-air theater. Now it's up to Nagato to get them out of this apparent simulation created by an unknown entity.
